Dr. Hans Rensland, founder and CEO of RACON - Regulatory Consulting GmbH made an apprenticeship as an electronics technician and worked for several years in this area. While working, he acquired on the „Abendgymnasium“ the general qualification for university and did his alternative service at the German Red Cross as a paramedic, studied biology, biochemistry and biophysics at the University of Heidelberg and did a doctorate in 1992 at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg.
In the same year he started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in the area of Clinical Development and Drug Regulatory Affairs at the company Intersan GmbH, a subsidiary of the French pharmaceutical company Ipsen.
After several years in Drug Regulatory Affairs (amongst others Knoll AG and Merck KGaA), Dr. Rensland 2004 took head of the Drug Regulatory Affairs at Biologische Heilmittel Heel GmbH.
In 2007 he took over the certification activities of Biopharmaceutical Company Horizon Pharma and brought his experience up to product certification.
After several years as the Head of Submission, Labeling and Operations of a renowned international service PharmaLex, Dr. Rensland 2012 made independent with RPC - Rensland Pharmaconsulting and established in September 2015, the RACON - Regulatory Affairs Consulting GmbH.
Nowadays and in the past, RPC respectively RACON, do excellent support of well-known companies in the pharmaceutical and medical field such as: Takeda, Berlin; Ipsen Pharma, Ettlingen; Merck, Darmstadt; Bayer, Berlin; Cytonet, Weinheim; R-Pharm, Illertissen; BSN Medical, Hamburg; Berlin Chemie, Berlin; Riemser Arzneimittel, Greifswald; Stada, Bad Vilbel; Dr Theiss, Bad Homburg and more.
In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Hans Rensland gets involved on the board of the Middle European Society for Regulatory Affairs eV (MEGRA) as Regional Chairman for Germany and head of the Advanced Training Committee.
Furthermore he acts as a seminar leader and lecturer at Forum, ClinTrial and the German Institute for Continuing Education (DIW).
